POP
E-mail: Netscape Navigator v.3.x
This
page describes how to configure Netscape Navigator to access
your POP e-mail box.
- Select
Mail and News Preferences... from Options
menu.
- Click
on the Servers tab at the top of the dialog box.
- For
Outgoing Mail Server: enter the SMTP server provided
by your ISP. UNIX hosting users may enter smtp.yourdomain.com
.
- For
Incoming Mail Server: enter yourdomain.com.
- For
POP3 User Name: enter the popID you specified
when you created the POP mailbox.
- Click
on the Identity tab at the top of the dialog box.
- For
Name: enter your name.
- For
Your E-mail: enter the e-mail address for the
POP mailbox.
- For
Reply-to Address: enter your e-mail address.

Choosing Netscape Mail from the Window pull-down
menu will then open a box that will allow you read and send
mail
